'Heroes'
2010
Review By Mick 'the beard' Staley

Arthemis are a band with a fast growing reputation for powerful metal with thrash riffs thrown in for good measure, or 'metal with balls'
Their progress has been marred however, with lineup changes an other side projects getting in the way.
This all seems to have been resolved, with Andreas (Andy), leaving Power Quest and all the band members now in the same country. (Italy)
'Black Society' was their previous album, which recieved great press, including from us, and the band members leaving made us all think it was the end.
'Black Society' was a superb album, with great guitars and Dioesque vocals, but 'Heroes' makes this become a distant dream.
It is by far a different prospect, with classic metal and thrash influences and extreemly powerful vocals from Fabio. The power and energy from this album comes at you full throttle from the off with opening song 'Scars on Scars', which is very hard to sing along to as Fabio delivers this line at breaknet speed, his vocal talents definately taking Arthemis to the next level.
It also seems that Andy on lead has been given a new lease of life as he has been able to unleash his true potential and stamped his own style on the riffs, with a blend of power metal, classic rock and thrash and his solos are awe inspiring.
Watch for these guys coming near you this Autumn and at HRH Ibiza. You can also see Andy on You Tube with his Dean guitar demo.
Arthemis have landed and they will take the rock world by the balls and give them a damn good squeeze!!
