'Evile'
ROCK CITY, Nottingham 21/01/2010
Review By Mick (the beard) Staley

This was the first set of gigs since the sad loss of Mike Alexander and everyone including myself, were not quite sure how things would be without him.

It was a strange sight to see Joel to Matt's left rather than Mike but as soon as they fired up with 'Infected Nation', all the Evile spark was there and as the set went on the enthusiasm these guys have and the drive to keep this band alive, shone through.

We were treated to tracks from 'Enter the Grave' including said track, and also from 'Infected Nation'. My personal favourite is 'Thrasher' and I was glad to hear it.

Although Mike will never be forgotten, as we got into the set, it was as if Joel had always been part of the team and the crowd warmed to him as the night went on.

We all know what to wxpect from Evile now, a bloody good show from guys who obviously enjoy what they do. Nottingham rocked tonight and so did Evile, and god willing thet can now pick up momentum and get up there where they belong.

Check out Evile when they play near you I guarentee you will love every minute, and bring along your friends and their friends and spread the word.
