'The World Is Too Big For One Lifetime'
2010
Review By Mick 'the beard' Staley
This is an Album that I shouldn't really like, as its not the type of music you would associate me with as I am old school metal through and through. It draws it influence strongly from the punk era, but has a very metal twist with the odd indie type riff thrown in for good measure and by god it works!
Lead singer Grog (an aweful name for someone who looks so good) is great and manages to slip from hard rock to punk to ballads with ease, and the rest of the band aren't bad either, with crashing riffs and catchy hook lines, and I could see some of the tracks having crossover appeal, so dont be suprised if these guys make the charts at some stage.
The whole album is put together really well, its hard to believe that Grog wasted her time in Kelly Osbournes band as a backing singer!
Anyway this is an album you must give a try to, whatever your tastes and one I can strongly recommend, hell if they can win me over with my tastes then its got to be worth a look.
