Wednesday 13’s music is not an entirely original concept as its very Marilyn Manson, never the less it is really good stuff.
I particularly like ‘I like to say fuck’ as its full throttle metal with tongue in cheek lyrics and the whole E.P. gives you the impression that they are a band having a good time, with their delivery and sound, they also do a great cover of Tom Petty's 'Running down a dream'
The E.P. does have two acoustic numbers at the end, which although very good, (if you like that sort of thing) leaves you feeling a bit deflated after such a triumphant start. It does however show that there is more to Wednesday 13, than full on in your face metal, but personally I prefer the latter.
I imagine that their stage show will reflect their sense of humour and energy, which is why I can’t wait to see them.
This E.P. is well worth buying, it has raw energy with a feel good factor.
